“1999” is a collection of musical tales, describing the many traits of my journey with my accordion. A journey I have been on for twenty years. A journey through the alleys and walls of the cities I’ve grown in or into which I have bumped, through starry skies of far countries or intimate considerations and enlightning experiences from my childhood. A journey through my roots, those of the countryside surrounding Rome, and trips to countries thousands of miles away. These tracks often tell about distances and separateness from places, distances from people or feelings maybe only felt once but still alive and echoing strongly inside of me.

 

The live, taken from the album realized for INRI Classic, is also a brand new picture of my life: a vision of the instrument that has been accompanying me since I was six, here merging with electronic atmospheres.
